Here and There

It's amazing at how many things I can invent to do when I am bored and in a new place. I've been exploring the island, and especially the library. Yesterday I got some books on traveling the US, New York City, and Disney World. I'm really excited for September!

I talked to my friend also named Bri from last summer and she offered me a position as a head waitress at the catering company! I am really excited. This will keep me busy and it is a lot of fun too.

Also, I may be able to take a day or two off during the middle of the season, so I'm thinking about taking a trip to see Nik and Matt. I hope it works out!

There have been thunderstorms on the island yesterday and today! There are puddles everywhere and there is thunder and lightening. Hardly the summer weather that I expected, but with my Seattle roots, the rain doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother other people on the island. The storm is supposed to last for a few more days.

The girls at my work, Vesi & Indre, and I are planning a night to go to a play on the island at the Methodist Church. It is supposed to be hillarious. I'm really excited because we don't get to hang out much outside of work!

I'm also thinking about getting a used bike so that I can get around the island quicker...
