I am learning everyday. Just when I think I know it all, I learn something new! (haha... joking) Yesterday a certain event really made me realize that we are all different. We are from different upbringings and have different beliefs. The challenge for me now is to accept differences, learn from them, and be able to make the differences be compatible with my life. I have never had to do this before as much as I will now, but I am determined to learn and grow. I know I will be a better person for this in the end.
I started lifting weights yesterday! I was really scared, but I ended up having a fun time. Who knew that the weight room has an entire culture. Grunting, sweating, manliness, men, men, men. I only saw three other girls. I caught myself giggling at times, but realized lifting weights is serious business and clearly not a laughing matter! What a great time... and I had a great teacher too!
